Supreme Court for China will issue a warrant to cover the prisoner's journey from Shanghai to England. In Foreign office telegram to Shanghai No. 50, to which a reply has not yet been received, the Consul-General was asked to confirm this point and to report what arrangements he had been able to make for the prisoner's transfer. The date of the latter's arrival in this country will be communicated in due course to the Home Office so that arrangements can be made for his reception.
4. A copy of this letter and its enclosures is being sent to the Secretary of State for War, the Secretary of State for the Colonies; and the Lords Commissioners of His Majesty's Treasury are being asked to sanction payment of the cost of the prisoner's transfer.
I am,
Sir,
Your obedient Servant,
